When we first envisioned the Strutt ev¹, our goal was to redefine smart mobility. We set out to build a vehicle that is as functional as it is beautiful, one that seamlessly integrates into your everyday life. But we also knew that the ev¹'s story doesn't end when it leaves our workshop - it truly begins when it reaches you.
Our community is made up of tinkerers, innovators, and visionaries. You don't just want to ride; you want to create, adapt, and personalize. That's exactly why we launched the Strutt Co-Design Kit.
Your ev¹, Your Canvas
The Strutt Co-Design Kit is an open-source library of 3D-printable templates designed specifically for the ev¹. Whether you're looking to enhance your daily commute with ergonomic tweaks, integrate new functional interfaces, or simply give your ev¹ a personalized aesthetic upgrade, these templates provide a foundation for customizing something truly yours.
By making these CAD files and templates readily available, we're handing the design reins over to you. We've seen firsthand that when community creativity takes the lead, the results are brilliant.

  • Why We Love It: This is what co-design is all about - the fusion of personal expression and engineering utility. Whether it's the pure joy of personalizing your ride as a character you love or the thoughtful exploration of ergonomic prototypes to perfect control and precision, these creators are reimagining the most fundamental points of connection with their ev¹.

  • The Design: A forward-facing, matte-black 3D-printed interface plate engineered to wrap around and bolt securely to the front edge of the armrest. This customized mount features a rigid base plate and an integrated articulating ball joint, as shown holding a DJI Osmo Nano. This modification provides a platform for capturing cinematic video from the driver's perspective.
  • Why We Love It: This is a masterful example of highly targeted functional co-design. Chito engineered a clever solution that repurposes the ev¹'s existing architecture to turn it into a mobile content-creation platform. We love how it feels integrated, not just 'added on,' demonstrating professional-level ingenuity using the provided templates.
